Modern day - London. The Darling family is finally moving out of their home, and Mother asks Wendy to pack up the famous nursery. But Wendy isn’t ready to leave, as she has been waiting for Peter every night since the Darling kid's adventure to Neverland. In order to find closure, Wendy decides she must find Peter Pan to reclaim the kiss she gave him, in order to continue on with her life. During her quest Wendy meets other girls who Peter also took to Neverland, realizing she was not the only one. The Lost Boys are also now grown up, and help Wendy in her quest. In this coming of age twist on J.M. Barrie's story, Wendy continues to grow from her first love and loss, creating her own identity and picking up the pieces of her broken heart. This winter "the girl who had to grow up" moves on.
